Emery speaks out on playing Aubameyang, Lacazette & Pepe ahead of Spurs game

Mauricio Pochettino felt that Tottenham recovered their togetherness during Sunday's helter-skelter 2-2 draw at Arsenal after a hard start to the season and a raft of problems behind the scenes.

"I was a little bit anxious about the situation, because we knew very well what was going on", he said.

Kane came close to sealing the points for Tottenham when he struck the post but Arsenal became galvanised when Spanish midfielder Dani Ceballos came off the bench and smashed a shot which keeper Hugo Lloris did well to tip over.

"Before their first goal we were playing well". "I like to play as a striker, but when the team needs me on the wing I go and I try my best".

Arsenal boss Unai Emery named the front three of club record signing Nicolas Pepe, Aubameyang and Lacazette together in his starting line-up for the first time, but the Gunners lacked any balance to their attacking intent as Tottenham counter-attacked easily early on.

"Yes, I think it's [a hamstring problem]".

Yemeni separatists arrest dozens of government loyalists in Aden
Yemen's Defense Ministry said that more than 300 people were killed and wounded by UAE air strikes on Aden and Abyan Province. The STC took control over the port city earlier this month, but Hadi's government said it reclaimed its stronghold Wednesday.

"Of course it was a big emotional hit for us because from here in one action you were down".

"I think in the first half we deserved to score two goals", he said. For them the same they were down and suddenly their emotion was high and the belief in football is about emotions.

"Overall, the most important for us is not the table, not the points, it's the performance".

Arsenal boss Unai Emery was pleased with his side's fightback to claim a point, although he felt their failure to "play with their head" cost them a win.

"Obviously after 2-0 we can be very proud of our response and how our supporters pushed us to get the second goal", he said. But the visitors were able to stifle them in the first half, before Arsenal became a threat after the break. "It's not severe", the former Sevilla and Paris Saint-Germain manager said soon after the final whistle. He worked very well. The game was fantastic for football but, for us, it's not enough. We need to continue working to develop the balance defensively in that moment.

Nicolas Pepe made two substitute appearances and started against Liverpool and he put on an incredible performance but he however missed some chances that would have won Arsenal the match but the gooners are looking forward to seeing him start at the Emirates Stadium today against Tottenham Hotspur.
