Oppo Reno 2 full specs unveiled before launch, details inside

If sources are to be believed, Oppo will be launching 4 phones in the series, namely Reno 2, Reno 2F, Reni 2Z, and Reno A. Among all these, Reno 2 is garnering the most attention.

And one of the wackiest phones in recent memory is the Oppo Reno, whose unique styling has been passed down to the new Reno 2. Furthermore, both devices come with a 6.53-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel, Quad camera rear, 8GB of RAM, and 4000mAh battery capacity.

The Reno2 is priced at Rs 36,990, the Reno2Z is priced at Rs 29,990, while the price Reno2F will be announced later. The device also gets a 4,000mAh battery that supports VOOC Flash Charge 3.0.

"Inheriting the already rich creative spirit of the Reno Series, this latest iteration presents our users with even more creative possibilities, empowering them to discover new perspectives", said Charles Wong, CEO of OPPO India.

Under the hood, Oppo Reno 2Z is powered by the MediaTek Helio P90 chipset while the Reno 2F comes backed by the MediaTek Helio P70 chipset. Pre-bookings for the Reno 2 would start on September 10 and the device would go on sale starting September 20. Oppo says that the front camera springs up in 0.8 seconds and supports bokeh effects for videos. On the software front, it runs Android Pie with ColorOS 6.1 on top. The camera unit also features portrait mode, Ultra Macro mode, and OIS to prevent the undulation of videos at 4K resolution. The back of the device uses a 3D curved Gorilla Glass.

All the smartphones run Android 9 Pie with Oppo's ColorOS 6 UI running atop.

Gas prices fall a bit more in northern New England
A new forecast by the American Automobile Association says prices may drop as much as 25-cents per gallon this autumn. Still, drivers are paying 11 cents less than this time last month and 23 cents less than this time previous year .

And yet, despite all these wacky design features, thanks to a sleek body with subtle highlights and a glorious 6.5-inch AMOLED screen uninterrupted by any notches, punch holes, or other distractions, the Reno 2 somehow still manages to look quite sophisticated.

The Reno2 Z has an electronically stabilized 48MP sensor, an 8MP wide-angle camera, a 2MP sensor with mono lens and a 2MP portrait sensor. At the rear, it features a familiar 48MP f/1.7 SONY IMX586 camera with OIS and a 13MP f/2.4 telephoto camera that offers 2X optical zoom and 5X hybrid zoom.

The front camera on all three models is a 16MP selfie shooter. The Reno2 sports the same shark-fin 16MP selfie camera, but the other two comes with a centrally placed vertical 16MP pop-up camera. However, the 2F and 2Z models have the usual pop-up camera module.

The other biggest hardware difference (that we know of) comes down to the cameras.

Oppo has also revealed a pair of noise-canceling Bluetooth headphones, called the Oppo Enco Q1, priced at Rs. 7,990. It still comes with 8GB of RAM but storage is half at 128GB on board.
