Disney reveals 'next generation' of attractions at Disney Parks

The announcement of the hotel was also timed with Disney dropping a two-minute retrospective of the "Star Wars" film franchise, which featured a sneak peek at the new "Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker" film which comes out in December 2019.

More details are expected to emerge during D23's final day and fans will be able to preview the upcoming attraction at "Walt Disney Imagineering presents the Epcot Experience" inside the park starting October 1st.

At the convention, Disney announced the streaming platform will be launched in the US, Canada, Netherlands and Australia on November 12.

CNET reports Disney+ will be priced at $6.99 per month and will allow subscribers to stream on up to four devices at once. The choices guests make during their stay will determine how their own Star Wars story progresses.

World Celebration "will offer new experiences that connect us to one another and the world around us", according to Disney. It's also adding a new pavilion. It's a scene that hearkens back to the battle between Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan in Episode 3, and it's going to be awesome.

Chapek also revealed a first look at the new area of Mickey's Toontown at Disneyland that will be home to this exciting attraction, which will take guests on a journey inside the wacky and unpredictable world of Disney Channel's Emmy® Award-winning "Mickey Mouse" cartoon shorts.

The President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige revealed concept art images of each character, before announcing three additional cast members: Sersi, to be played by Gemma Chan; aloof loner Druig, to be played by Barry Keoghan; and non-Eternal Dane Whitman, who'll be played by the King in the North, Kit Harington.

In the France pavilion, the Impressions de France film will be joined by a brand new "Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along", which will debut in January 2020.
