Messi made me better player, says Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo has hinted he could be ready to hang up his boots at the end of this season.

Ronaldo has told Portuguese television TVI that "2018 was probably my worst year ever, personally speaking".

Manchester United broke the world-record fee for a defender this summer when they signed Harry Maguire from Leicester City for £80m.

"I could finish my career next year, but I can also play until I am 40 or 41".

Ronaldo actually started his football career on the streets of Portugal before he joined Sporting Lisbon in 2001, and today, he can boasts of having five Ballon d'Or award in his cabinet amongst many other awards.

"I have an excellent professional relationship with Messi because we have been sharing the same moments for 15 years", he said.

"You gamble a lot on the potential and the football industry is different", Ronaldo said, as reported by Marca. "The gift is excellent and I have to continue to enjoy it".

Disney and Sony Cut Ties over Financial Disputes
Following the events of Avengers: Endgame , Spider-Man must step up to take on new threats in a world that has changed forever. Sony Pictures has gone public over its divorce with Disney on future "Spider-Man" projects.

"I wake up every morning with the idea in my head of training with the objective of achieving something more, not just to earn money".

"I do not agree with it, but this is the world we live in".

Juventus will kick off their title defence on Saturday against Parma, and Ronaldo admitted that he wants to capture the Champions League trophy in the new season.

However, the week after will see Sarri take on his former club Napoli, who finished second in the league last season, before they travel south to take on Fiorentina. And the talisman believes that there aren't many footballers who have more milestones to their name than him.

"I know I'm already in the history of football".

"I have no doubt that Messi has made me a better player and vice-versa. I'm giving 75 per cent and no more than 100 per cent, but I'm still as motivated as I was on my first day", he said.

"With maturity, I learned that the most important thing in life wasn't football".
