PSG reject Barcelona's first offer for Neymar

PSG reject Barcelona's first offer for Neymar

While the exit door is very much open to Neymar following the breakdown in his relationship with PSG, the club is not willing to let him go at any price.

Due to financial restrictions surrounding any potential return to Spain for Neymar, Marca report that Barcelona made a loan offer with 'an option to buy for €150million (£137m) next summer'.

Barcelona have reportedly offered Luis Suarez to Juventus to free up funds for Neymar who continues to dominate the summer transfer window.

Both Barcelona and Real Madrid are involved in a transfer battle to sign the Brazilian talisman.

Barcelona simply doesn't have the money to buy Neymar outright at the moment.

After splashing the cash on the likes of Antoine Griezmann and Frenkie de Jong already, it seems unlikely that they'd be able to have a balance between incomings and sales.

The Bundesliga champions have agreed to pay a fee of €8.5million (£7.77m) to take Coutinho on loan and have the option to make the move permanent in 2020 for a reported fee of €120m (£110m).

Sources close to Neymar see Coutinho's loan move to Bayern as being a huge setback in their ability to strike a deal, as they saw his compatriot possibly being included in a deal with the French club.

The most expensive player in the world may be going back to his old club...on loan.

Conversely, Barcelona are unwilling to include either Ousmane Dembele or Nelson Semedo in such a deal, two players that PSG desire.

However, the Serie A side are said to have a plan if they miss out on Neymar to Barcelona. Neymar wants out of PSG, the club doesn't want to pay his wages and Barcelona doesn't have the cash on-hand to buy him right now.

Barcelona are desperate to re-sign the Brazil worldwide before the European transfer window closes on September 2, although Real Madrid and Juventus themselves have also been linked.
