Billie Eilish ends Lil Nas X’s 19-week USA number one streak

"LMAO" she wrote in another, referring to up-and-coming rapper Lil Nas X.

Eilish's "Bad Guy" rose from No. 2 to No. 1, finally toppling the country rap song featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, which had a record-breaking 19-week run at the top of the Hot 100. During his time on the throne, he came out as gay, released a new EP, and broke several records on the Billboard Hot 100.

On Monday 19 August, Lil Nas X tweeted his congratulations to the 17-year-old star, writing: "congratulations to billie eilish! u deserve this!"

Not only is Eilish's first No. 1 song on the Billboard Hot 100, but she's also the first artist born in the 21st century to reach the spot, as she was born December 18, 2001.

1 position, Eilish released the single back in March alongside the release of her debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

Prince Andrew issues statement following Jeffrey Epstein abuse claims
The Palace has issued strong denials over claims from a woman who said she was forced to have under-age sex with the duke. Before resigning, Acosta had defended his role in the case, saying he acted to ensure Epstein did not "walk free".

Old Town Road slips to Number 3 on this week's United States singles chart, while Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello's Senorita lifts from 3 to 2.

That's longer than the 2017 hit Despacito, and pop juggernauts Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men's song One Sweet Day.

Lil Nas X isn't salty by any means.

"Congratulations to Billie Eilish!".

Lil Nas X then followed up his congratulatory tweet with a savagely hilarious meme about his record label dropping him now that "Old Town Road" was no longer number one.
