NFL Reinstating Patriots WR Josh Gordon After Suspension for Substance Abuse

That news came out not long after an announcement by Gordon, who initially said he was walking away to get "a better grasp on things mentally".

Veteran wide receiver Dontrelle Inman requested his release from the New England Patriots on Sunday, and the club has granted his request, according to a league source.

Most importantly, troubled wide receiver Josh Gordon got another chance at football as the league announced that the talented playmaker is being reinstated with conditions.

"We are all rooting for Josh to succeed, both personally and professionally", NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said in the statement released by the league.
