Suits makes cheeky reference to Meghan Markle's royal life in new series

Meghan Markle may not be watching Suits after leaving the United States of America network series, but if she happened to tune into Thursday's episode, she would have seen a cute nod to her new royal life.

Markle starred on the United States of America show as Rachel Zane before marrying Prince Harry and becoming the Duchess of Sussex, and on the latest episode, her onscreen husband - Mike Ross (played by Patrick J. Adams) - is asked how Rachel is doing.

The final season of the hit legal drama is now screening on Lightbox and the latest episode saw Markle's on-screen husband, Mike Ross (Patrick J Adams) return in a cameo role.

In the show's final season opener, his character Mike returned, and was asked about how his wife Rachel Zane was doing, to which he replied: "If I told you how good, you probably wouldn't believe me".

However, it does not seem like Meghan Markle is in a rush for more titles.

One, @gericsl, wrote on Twitter: "She turned out pretty good!"
