Need for Speed Heat has convenience microtransactions

"We plan to have post-launch paid DLC in the form of vehicle packs".

This trailer is filled with Need For Speed staples which includes high-performance and customizable cars, which is racing through fictitious but detailed urban settings.

As with most modern racing games, "NFS Heat" is visually stunning, with graphics so real it's easy to forget you're looking at a video game. Rather than the Las Vegas-based city featured in the previous game, Heat takes place in the fictional Palm City, which looks heavily based on Miami.

Two dead after plane crashes in New Orleans
New Orleans did not just lose a five-time Emmy-winning journalist, or a familiar, comforting face on our TV screens. Parker was at the airport and was flying in Augustus' propeller-driven airplane for a story she was doing on him.

The Need for Speed Heat trailer is officially released on the Youtube and the game is going to be released on November 8.

Well, it looks, the game publisher has taken care of it, and unlike Need for Speed: Payback, we are not going to see any kind of loot boxes in Need for Speed: Heat for the objective of monetizing. Though EA issued an apology, they've continued to create loot box and microtransaction-centered controversies. The micro-transaction will be what it described as a "time-save" pack, which will display all the collectibles on the map. By day, players compete in the Speedhunters Showdown, a sanctioned competition where they earn Bank to customize and upgrade their garage of high-performance cars. The developers promise an immersive narrative, authentic urban auto culture, and deeper customization. The roads, the risks, and the rides never end in this street racer where a player can roll deep with their crew, build their garage full of hot cars, and make the city their nonstop playground. "From your character's style to your car's performance and your driving style, we're fueling everyone's creativity with this new game".

The game will launch on November 8 on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows.
