OPPO Teases Reno 2 Announcement; Launch To Happen On 28 August

The Reno2 series is expected to launch on August 28 at an event in New Delhi. First, the OPPO Reno 2 will retain the Sharkfin rising camera on the top. The invite also says that the upcoming smartphone will be equipped with a whopping 20X zoom. The brand launched two smartphones including Oppo Reno and Oppo Reno 10X Zoom. It features 20x digital zoom up from 10x on the Reno Zoom Edition. The Oppo Reno and Reno 10x Zoom made their debut in European markets first before making their appearance in the Indian market, however, that's not the case with the Reno 2 series as they'll be reaching the Indian market first before reaching other countries. The teasers mention the word "series", so we expect to see multiple devices being launched within the lineup, similar to what Oppo did with the original Reno.

So far, Manchester United has remained obstinate that Paul Pogba is not for sale. Anything can happen until September the 2nd.

The new leak, which comes courtesy of an account named Fengchao Technology on Weibo, suggests that the Oppo Reno 2 will pack a 48-megapixel primary camera. The Oppo Reno 2 is rumored to come with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display, though the report from 91Mobiles states that the fourth camera will be a 2MP monochrome shooter, which contradicts the previous source. The Oppo Reno arrived with Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset and this year's Reno 2 might feature the newer Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chip which we found on the Redmi K20 smartphone. The inclusion of 20x Zoom would undoubtedly be a highlight specification of the Reno 2 series. Stay connected to PhoneRadar for more such interesting updates.
