Nessa Blasts JAY-Z And NFL For New Partnership On Hot 97

Alongside a video saying Kaepernick has been denied work from the National Football League for 897 days, he tweeted out a message on Thursday, "You never turned your back on me or the people, even when the nfl tried to silence your voice & the movement".

That left fans scratching their heads this week when NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell dove headfirst into the political rift by announcing the Jay-Z partnership while describing the hip-hop promoter as "globally influential" and "impactful" in a statement Wednesday.

During a press conference to speak about his new partnership with the NFL, Jay-Z explained that he plans to build on the issues that Colin Kaepernick was protesting.

Jay-Z told reporters, "I think we forget that Colin's whole thing was to bring attention to social injustice. This is the next phase", the entertainment magnate said. "This is the next thing because there's two parts of the protest". Let's get it! @E_Reid35 And to the people - I see you, I hear you and I love you! "What do we do next?'"

"Kap's longtime friend and former teammate sounded off on social media late Wednesday night. responding to a quote from Jay that read ". everybody knows I agree with what you're saying [in Kaepernick's underlying message]. You know what I'm saying?

Pochettino has done an 'extraordinary' job at Tottenham - Guardiola
Man City , with Sterling having scored a hat-trick away from home, are mind-blowing". It is a judgement of where his team is at.

The 99 Problems hitmaker will be the sports league's "live music entertainment strategist" as part of the partnership with his company Roc Nation, and he will also be working with them on their Inspire Change activism campaign.

JAY-Z said that the move in no way undercuts Kaepernick's protests against police brutality and racial inequality in the USA and subsequent exile from the game. "That's for him to say". Kaepernick wrote in the caption of the tweet. Kneeling during the anthem is effectively telling anyone who put their lives on the line for our flag made that sacrifice for nothing, and that's something we just can not support.

"How can you stand for the national anthem of a nation that preaches and propagates "freedom and justice for all" that is so unjust to so numerous people living there?"

"You can't just throw someone out if they make a mistake", Jay-Z continued. Moving forward, however, it must have made more sense for Shawn to take the side of the NFL. I think everyone knows what the issue is - we're done with that.

"I believe real change is had through real conversation and real work".
