Dangerous heat grips parts of 13 states in South, Midwest

High temperatures combined with the humidity, it will make it feel like it it much hotter with heat index values in the 105° to 115° range.

"There's a weak cold front flying down through Oklahoma". If you work or spend time outside, when possible, reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or evening.

The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity could quickly cause heat-related illnesses such as heat exhaustion or heat stroke.
