UFC Fighter Mike Perry Got His Nose Shattered

Vicente Luque managed to score the biggest win of his career to date with a stunning showdown against Mike Perry at UFC Uruguay last night.

He also commented on the knee that obliterated his nose. When he comes back to the Octagon, he will be coming off of a loss to Luque. But it's arguable that his stock actually rose despite losing, as he managed to go a hard full three rounds against one of the welterweight division's top contenders in Luque.

The two fighters fell to the canvas as Luque attempted a front choke while a deluge of blood flowed from Perry's nose onto Luque's chest and all over the mat.

The social media reacted to the brutality of the situation, with many suggesting it as one of the worst injuries of UFC.

Farrar, stated, indicate scientists are getting closer to turning Ebola right into a "preventable and treatable" disease. A sense that Ebola is incurable and a lack of trust in medical workers in DR Congo has held back treatment of the virus.

That's the only way to describe what happened to the American's nose during his split decision defeat to Vicente Luque ahead of Valentina Shevchenko's title fight against Liz Carmouche.

The blow was so bad that Perry started having trouble breathing and ended up being hospitalized, the UFC on ESPN+ 14 post-show confirmed.

One good news for Perry in spite of a nasty injury is that, it was announced that both fighters walked away with an additional $50,000 from the Fight of the Night award.

Perry underwent successful nose surgery in Uruguay on Sunday, his manager Abraham Kawa told ESPN.
