Jutanugarn takes slim lead into Scottish Open final round

The 29-year-old South Korean seized control with four successive birdies from the 9th hole at The Renaissance Club in North Berwick, the same course that hosted the men's Scottish Open last month.

In non-stop rain for the final round on the East Lothian coast, Hur signed off with a brilliant 66 for a 20-under-par 264 total.

It was her third career LPGA title, following her victory at the Yokohama Tire LPGA Classic in 2014 and the Safeway Classic in 2009.

The tournament ended a three-week LPGA stretch in Europe. Sharing third at 10 under were U.S. Women's Open champion Jeongeun Lee6 (65) and Anne van Dam, who followed her opening-round 63 with a 69.

Hur finished joint second behind her compatriot, Mi Hyang Lee, at Dundonald Links two years ago in similar foul weather.

"I think am still in the competition because when I won 2017, it wasn't good weather and I was six strokes behind at that time so I really have confidence right now".

She picked up a check for $225,000.

Bodies Found in Manitoba Confirmed to be Wanted Murder Suspects
Alan Schmegelsky said he didn't believe that his son identified as a neo-Nazi, but that he did think the memorabilia was "cool". The teenagers were later seen 3,300km (2,050 miles) to the east, in Manitoba, where police concentrated their search.

"I'm just trying to play my game and have fun out there", she said.

Carly Booth, the 2012 victor, finished joint ninth after closing with a 71 for 274.

Low round of the day belonged to Australian 23-year-old Minjee Lee, who went bogey free in a round of 64 (-7).

Three further gains from the tenth saw Jutanugarn hit the front for the first time, a position she would not relinquish.

"Honestly I don't like links courses but after this week I love it!"

"This is the only event where I have some family, so it's always nice to come back and play in Scotland". "It was a shame to have two bogeys in the last three holes but I had a good week and I'll take my top-10 for the week".

"Gary was very good on Thursday when I bogeyed two holes in a row, he kept telling me I could win", she said.
