"Independent of what happens today [at United vs Chelsea], even if one of the teams plays magnificently and has a fantastic result, I don't believe that they are going to resist in a title race".

Welsh winger Daniel James was the first new arrival at Old Trafford in June, completing a £15 million ($18m) switch from Championship outfit Swansea City.

When asked about last season as he spoke to the press ahead of Sunday's Premier League opener at home to Chelsea, the Norwegian said: "of course we want to put that right".

That's according to Duncan Castles of the Daily Record who has revealed that Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Marcos Rojo were all the subject of interest from other clubs during the transfer window.

"I remember these similar steps when I first went into the Under-18s and it takes you a season to grow into that standard of football".

"There are always going to be fans out there wanting to sign players".

Hobbs & Shaw Remains #1, Scary Stories Exceeds Expectations
Box Office Pro predicted Hobbs & Shaw would lead with $29 million, followed by Dora at $22 million and Lion King at $20.8 million. Newcomers like " The Art of Racing in the Rain ", with Milo Ventimiglia, of "This is Us", came in sixth place with $8.1 million.

"Hopefully you should see the signs of the team I would want to be in 12 months".

"The only senior player who has been moved out who you would expect to stay there is Ander Herrera who they didn't actually want to lose, who wanted to stay at the club, and who Solskjaer described as, "vital to us".

"Within the team and the club we are feeling very confident and we don't feel that negativity", he insisted.

A three-time Premier League victor, Mourinho immediately predicted, with a twist, a four-way fight in this year's title race. "Solskjaer always took his chances and was clinical in front of goal and if he can pass that down to Rashford, then he'll score 20-30 goals a season".

"Football is a huge passion, it means so much to the fans, and I look forward to being part of the Premier League with them until I return to my place on the touchline". It's about having the right players and the right people in and it's not about suddenly changing when you haven't got the right ones.

United still had the second-highest net spend in the transfer window - and more money will be made available for Solskjaer in January if required.
