Switzerland forward Albian Ajeti signed a four-year contract at London Stadium, with the option of a further two, after West Ham and Basel agreed an undisclosed fee reported to be in the region of £8m. Celtic will receive £25m, which will be spread over the length of the deal.

Tierney, meanwhile, has been a target for the Gunners throughout the summer, but the north London side have struggled to reach an agreement with the Scottish champions.

Kieran Tierney missed a lot of games last season due to hernia trouble and this summer he has undergone a surgery.

With so much money coming in for the deal you would hope Neil Lennon will now be given some serious cash to spend.
