Furthermore, Apple is probably going to be forced to move most of the Chinese manufacturing lines in neighboring countries with the ongoing trade war between the USA and China, and this would bring even more increased production costs for the next few years. An Apple patent application that surfaced in February also describes a flexible display device, with images that seemingly show a smartphone that folds in half from top to bottom.

iFixit compared the practice to having a "Check Oil" light in a vehicle that can only be deactivated at a Ford dealership. But now the message is appearing even if a new battery has been installed- unless it has been installed by an Apple Genius or an authorized service provider. The new software lock is found in both iOS 12 and iOS 13, and for now only affects the iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max.

On the other hand, Apple isn't the only company looking at foldable tablet/laptop devices.

The issue was first noted by the YouTube channel, The Art of fix, and was verified by iFixIt.

Apple is seemingly going to make its 2020 iPhones 5G compatible, so it is likely to be a bit much to make them foldable at the same time.

The company made the announcement at the Black Hat conference today, an update to the bug bounty program it launched three years ago.

Trump says US-S. Korea talks on defense payment begin
He said that USA forces stationed in South Korea help stabilize the region and support the interests of the United States. So they've agreed to pay a lot more and they will agree to pay a lot more than that.

It's not necessarily surprising that Apple is working on foldable devices.

The firm, which was hit by a huge customer backlash after the "batterygate" throttling was first revealed, has previously said there was no need to bring the "performance management feature" to its latest phones.

The question is not whether or not individuals would buy a foldable iPhone.

To check if Apple is throttling your phone, go to Settings Battery Battery Health.

As batteries in all phones and gadgets age, they become less effective.

In response to growing lobbying for right to fix bills, Apple has insisted that it is motivated by controlling the quality of repairs and safety concerns (particularly relevant in situations like swollen batteries) rather than money. UBS also noted that the first foldable product from Apple might be an iPad, not an iPhone.
