Tuesday's big transfer rumours: Tottenham fear late cut-price bids for midfielder

The Denmark international's potential move to Old Trafford is not dependant on Paul Pogba leaving the club and United now expect the midfielder to stay, one source has told SSN.

Eriksen's arrival in Manchester would open the door for Madrid to secure the services of Pogba, with the Dane's addition to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad leaving United covered against the Frenchman's potential departure for Spain.

Eriksen had expected to move on by now but interest has been minimal.

Tottenham are hopeful of striking a deal for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes - another one-time United target - before Thursday.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid are also readying a swoop for Ajax's Donny van de Beek.

Should Eriksen remain at Tottenham after Thursday's deadline, the likes of Juventus and Atletico Madrid will consider making cut-price bids of around £50 million to tempt Spurs.

Eriksen's contract expires in 2020, meaning Tottenham risk losing him for nothing next summer.

It alleges that the North Korean cyber theft activities were created to help the regime avoid tough global sanctions. Security analysts have long suspected North Korean government has been using cyber attacks to help fund itself.

But United believe they are able to bring the midfielder in late on.

Manchester United completed the £80m signing of Leicester City star Harry Maguire on Monday, making the England worldwide the most expensive defender in the world.

It takes just a quick look through recent Premier League statistics to realise just how influential Eriksen has been in recent seasons for Tottenham.

The Red Devils started their summer spending spree with the £18m addition of Welsh winger Daniel James from Swansea City before Manchester United spent £50m on Crystal Palace full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

It seems like that a move to Inter Milan is most likely for Lukaku.

Spurs' options to replace Eriksen include Philippe Coutinho on loan from Barcelona and Paulo Dybala from Juventus.
