Among these are a Galarian Weezing and a "form changing" creature that appears to be related to Pikachu.

A new Pokémon Sword and Shield trailer was released today, and it's pretty interesting.

The latest bit of Pokemon Sword and Shield footage debuted this morning by way of a short new trailer, and it introduced some intriguing new Pokemon: new Galarian forms, a shape-changing monster, and more.

Different Pokemon forms are nothing new to the series, as various regions impact how these critters evolve.

The trailer revealed plenty of sumptuous other new information for eager fans ready to tear into the upcoming game, including new Rival Trainers like the gray-haired, smug-looking Bede and potential goth chick Marnie, who look like serious contenders. In a surprise twist, the Galarian form of Linoone actually has the ability to evolve into a new Pokemon called Obstagoon. They comprise Team Yell, which is basically a bunch of jerks.

Doing this will help the Pokemon gain experience and level up, with certain jobs needing specific types of Pokemon. In this brief video, we get a glimpse at a few familiar Pokemon that have been altered due to them living in the Galar region.

Poke Jobs are a thing in Pokemon Sword and Shield. Each one will tell you who is making the request, how many Pokemon you can send, roughly how many experience points the job will reward to your Pokemon, and a short message that will indicate what kind of Pokemon may be best suited to the task.
