Here's When Mindhunter Season 2 Drops on Netflix

Director David Fincher has also revealed some of the serial killers set to appear. So the second season will release on 16 August 2019. Until today. It has now been confirmed that the second season of the show will release on the 16th of August on Netflix.

But that's not all.

Speaking in KCRW's The Treatment podcast, David Fincher talked about the possibilities of the upcoming season.

They will focus on the Atlanta child murders; a series of at least 28 killings of African-Americans. The pair help local police find serial killers (and get ahead of them) by better understanding their psychology through working with already imprisoned murderers.

Japan sees drop in TiVA trade surplus with South Korea
He instructed Reuters the two sides had mentioned what they might disclose however that there was no settlement. South Korea says the export controls violate World Trade Organization rules - Japan disagrees.

The first two figures will probably be well-known to most: Manson was a notorious cult leader, and Son of Sam, AKA David Berkowitz, was a serial killer who haunted the streets of NY. It's those murders, in fact, that Fincher has described as serving as the emotional through-line of the new season. Of course, there is also a part of this where you fear that studying the criminal mind leads to obsession and we saw that happening to Holden Ford by the end of season 1 in part as a result of his relationship with Ed Kemper.

Fincher called it a "huge and sweeping and tragic story". We had to choose to dramatize. "It's a divided battlefield, and they're coming in to try and throw this federal umbrella under everything to make everybody feel okay about sharing information and it's really, really tricky".

Sounds like pure Mindhunter to me.

The second season, which is reportedly eight episodes long, will be directed by Fincher, Andrew Dominik, and Carl Franklin.
