Fortnite has officially announced their 9.40 update, and there is also news about the downtime of the server. It can dish out 83/87 damage, fires 1.5 shots per second, is able to hold up to eight shells, and has a headshot multiplier of 2.25.

The reporting comes by way of Polygon, which noticed that in Fortnite: Save the World's recent patch notes, Epic Games states that "Quests, missions alerts, and daily login rewards will now grant X-Ray Tickets instead of V-Bucks to players who are non founders".

Following the release of the latest "Fortnite" update, Battle Royale players will have to temporarily say goodbye to the Epic and Legendary versions of the Suppressed Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle. The studio didn't discuss what new content will arrive as part of the update, but Fortnite's in-game news feed is teasing that Epic and Legendary variants of the Tactical Shotgun are "coming soon" to the title.
