Christoph Waltz spotted on Bond 25 set in London

The 25th James Bond film just got another boost of good news with the announcement that Christoph Waltz will be reprising his role of Ernst Stavro Blofeld, the dreaded founder/leader of the global criminal organization known as SPECTRE.

Waltz was not revealed in the line-up last April, but was spotted in London's Pinewood Studios this week, Empire reports. According to the Daily Mail, the double Oscar-winning actor Waltz was spotted on set by visitors and said, "You haven't seen me".

What a flawless Bond villain line to say. While the iconic character has been previously essayed by actors Donald Pleasence and Max von Sydow, Waltz first played the role in 2015's Spectre.

A description of the plot for the new Bond on the 007 website reads: "Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica".

Bond 25, which does not yet have an official title, is now filming in London. That'll lead Bond to suit back up and head off in pursuit of a new villain armed with risky technology.

Weakened Barry drenches Louisiana, millions brace for flooding
Over the past seven decades tropical events like Barry have slowed down, going 20-30% less quickly over land in North America. Barry probably won't be remembered for its winds. "There are going to be short-term effects on the ecosystem", Muth said .

The character of Blofeld, with his tropes of cat stroking, Mandarin suits, and elaborate monologuing, would become a pop culture phenomenon, so when Waltz was cast to play him again in Spectre it was met with quite the reception.

He joins returning franchise players including star Daniel Craig as well as Jeffrey Wright, Ralph Fiennes, Lea Seydoux, Naomie Harris, Rory Kinnear, and Ben Whishaw. New roles come from Dali Benssalah, Billy Magnussen, Ana De Arma, David Dencik and Lashana Lynch.

Maniac's Cary Joji Fukunaga took over directing duties from Danny Boyle after the Oscar-winning director exited in August 2018.

We won't know for sure until the movie, Daniel Craig's last hurrah as 007, arrives on April 3, 2020.
