Minecraft Earth Beta Will Begin in Two Weeks

Now a new trailer for Minecraft Earth confirms that said closed beta will be available for select iOS users later this month, although a precise date is not mentioned by the developer on its blog.

Minecraft Earth is coming to iOS and Android this mid-year on AR-competent gadgets. Check it out below. Upon being selected for closed beta participation, the users will receive an invitation on their email associated with the account. The closed beta program has a limited number of participants, so you will have to apply as soon as possible if you want to get in.

It's still impressive to me how much of Minecraft they're cramming into this augmented reality phone game-it turns out you'll even be able to collect and change skins, just like in the full-size game. A lot of Minecraft fans are excited for the arrival of this augmented reality game ever since it was teased by the software giant. Signing up however does not guarantee you a beta spot, it merely gives you a chance to be one of the first people to get their hands on an early copy of the game. Reports indicate that Microsoft plans for the closed beta to be a huge endeavor with hundreds of thousands of players allowed to participate.
