Services are underway at the Heritage Christian Center in Aurora, where hundreds of family, friends and fans have gathered to pay their last respects to Beth.

Dog also honored Beth at a service in Hawaii.

During his eulogy, Duane spoke about how they both wanted to be on television since a young age.

"For two to three years, she knew this might happen", Chapman told ET.

Beth and her husband starred in the reality series "Dog the Bounty Hunter" for eight seasons until 2012. They were now filming a new reality series with WGN America called "Dog's Most Wanted", which is the first unscripted series on WGN in five years.

The first trailer for their upcoming show was released in early June. "You're out of your mind.' I said, 'Honey, you might have to do chemo and stuff.' She goes, 'All it will do is keep me alive six months longer, and I am not going to do that because I want to be by your side'".

He added that he still can not accept that she has passed away. "Beth isn't dead", he said, "she's sleeping".

"I haven't gotten past the place where I'm [not] putting a pillow where she was and covering it up", he told the news outlet. "These are instances when people go over the border and you actually should watch the way you do as a result of I've been by means of expertise to help different folks- I actually imply that". A memorial is planned this Saturday in her home state of Colorado. "I'm sad", he told the audience, wiping away tears.

Dog made sure to let us know "The public is welcome to attend, everyone is welcome". I never imagined walking down the aisle without her or her not judging my dress. Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven. "See you on the other side".

Following the announcement of the memorial, Duane opened up about the mourning process.

"People would say I lived a long and great life, sometimes a hard life."

"For a few years we knew this day would come", he continued.

On June 21, Beth Chapman was placed into a medically-induced coma amidst battling lung cancer. Two months later, she successfully underwent surgery for throat cancer.
