Stephanie Niznik Dead - 'Everwood' Actress Die at 52 | RIP, Stephanie Niznik

Stephanie Niznik, an actor known for roles on several television series and appearances in the "Star Trek" franchise, has died. As reported in the first instance, the actress died unexpectedly in Encino, Calif. The actress was not married and had no children.

Niznik is best known for her role as helpful neighbor Nina Feeney in "Everwood", which she played from 2002 to the end of the series in 2006 (four seasons).

Her film credits include THE TWILIGHT OF THE GOLDS (1996), DEAR GOD (1996), STAR TREK: INSURRECTION (1998), MEMORIAL DAY (1998), ANYWHERE BUT HERE (1999) and THE TWENTY (2009).

In 2017, she returned for the show's 15th-anniversary panel at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour. She has been involved in Life is Wild and has also been invited to appear in NCIS and CSI, along with her job in Everwood.

The second the information of her dying was introduced on social media, there have been reactions from her co-workers and followers. Her original plan was to become a geneticist before graduating from Duke University with majors in theater and Russian. She is survived by her mother, her stepfather, brother, and her two dogs, Nucleus and Jake.

Our thoughts are with Stephanie's family and friends during this hard time. She pursued a masters at Cal Arts, then began acting with roles in series including "Vanishing Son" and "Murder She Wrote". She played the role of Dot.
