Taylor Swift, Luke Bryan Make Forbes' 2019 Highest Paid List

Taylor Swift, Luke Bryan Make Forbes' 2019 Highest Paid List

"He has beaten every other Bollywood celeb to feature on the Forbes" annual Highest-Paid Celebrities list.

The magazine estimated the 29-year-old singer's pretax income to be around $185 million-a 131% percent increase compared to the $80 million she reportedly raked in last year.

Taylor's income mainly comes from touring, which comes as no surprise as her Reputation Stadium Tour was named the highest-grossing United States tour ever whilst "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star Kylie's success is linked to her cosmetics business and her popular social media following.

The price of admission to the Forbes list amounted to $37.5 million, up 7 percent from a year before.

In third place is Kanye West, who can thank his footwear empire Yeezy for his fortune. Her brother in law Kanye West nabbed No 3 with an estimated $140 million in earnings; his wife and Jenner's sister Kim Kardashian brought in $72 million, landing her at No. 26. He took home $150 million. Earlier this year Jenner was declared by Forbes as the world's youngest billionaire. The oldest person on the list is Beatles' legend Sir Paul McCartney, 77-years-old, at number 62 with $48 million.

Willy Wonka actress Denise Nickerson taken off life support
The US actress, who suffered a severe stroke a year ago , died after having multiple seizures and being taken off life support. In 2018 the Denver, Colorado resident had a pacemaker put in, but she had a hard reaction to it and became 'agitated'.

Forbes has released its list of the highest-paid celebrities.

Social media and reality TV star Kylie Jenner is ranked second on the list with an estimated pre-tax pay packet of $170m (£136m).

An interesting fact about this list is that Akshay has been beaten by everyone's favourite Robert Downey Jr. aka Iron Man by an earnings of $1 million.

Athletes accounted for four spots in the top 10: Lionel Messi at No. 4, Cristiano Ronaldo at No. 6, Neymar at No. 7 and Canelo Alvarez at No. 10.
