Did Taylor Swift shade Scooter Braun during Amazon Prime Day concert?

Amazon Prime Day happens on July 15 and July 16 but, for Prime members, the party starts today. Hosted by Jane Lynch, the Prime Day concert also featured artists Dua Lipa, SZA and Becky G. Tay Tay headlined the show and performed her newest singles, ME! and You Need To Calm Down.

Presented by Amazon Music, exclusively for Prime members, the Prime Day Concert 2019 can be streamed via Amazon Prime Video starting at 9 p.m. ET. Yahoo Finance crunched the numbers and took a look at Amazon's stock performance relative to the broader market for the seven days prior, one day prior, one day after and seven days after Prime Day. Before you buy, give yourself some time to think about whether you actually need the items you're eyeing.

The replay is available on Prime Video.

As for the sale itself, expect savings on Amazon's Kindle, Echo and Fire products, and smart devices that use Amazon's Alexa assistant. But don't wait too long to watch - according to Amazon, the concert will be available on-demand only for a limited time.

Beyond the basic goal of drumming up sales on an otherwise random Tuesday in the summer, Amazon created Prime Day to boost Prime memberships.

Beyond sales and discounts, Twitch Sells Out viewers will also be shown some exclusive footage of upcoming games in 2019.

After the free trial, Amazon Prime generally costs a href="https://www.amazon.com/amazonprime/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&linkCode=ll2&tag=mysalprimeday2019july19-20&linkId=591657abc7f86a92066c044084e72f89&language=en_US”; rel="noopener" target="_blank" $12.99 per month or $119 per year". For one thing, the Prime Day 2019 Concert featuring Taylor Swift is obviously created to get shoppers thinking about Prime Day and all the deals.
