The burger can be bought on its own, or as part of a meal alongside Burger King's French fries and your favourite drink and, if you're feeling extra cheesy, you can double the halloumi patties.

Chris Finazzo, president of Burger King North America, said that he wanted to bring the West Coast tacos nationwide, and figures that the "Crispy Taco" could be a hit nationwide.

It is the first halloumi burger to be served at a major United Kingdom fast-food chain.

The taco features a crispy, crunchy tortilla filled with seasoned beef, shredded cheddar cheese, crisp lettuce, and Burger King's savory taco sauce.

The taco is a limited-time option at participating locations and only costs $1 in most states.

If you're not veggie, but fancy a slice of the creamy cypriot delicacy, you can also hack the menu and get it added onto that Whopper or other meaty burger.

The Halloumi Burger isn't the only plant-based treat that Burger King offers.

Sadly, the Crispy Tacos will only be available for a limited time, but just how long that time period is has not yet been announced.
