"Spider-Man: Far From Home" Makes $185 Million in Six Days

In a recent interview, Tom Holland, who plays Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, said that he is open to Spider-Man being gay. But it wasn't until the role of Quentin Beck/Mysterio in Spider-Man: Far From Home came to him that the acclaimed actor chose to suit up. The ideal place for that?

Spider-Man took his web-slinging skills overseas in "Far From Home", and it looks like his vacation paid off. Well... don't shoot the messenger! But you can still stream it elsewhere.

In the run-up to animal rights activists had protested against the event, because the bulls are dying in the evening in the Arena. Three people were rushed to hospital this morning at the start of the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona , northern Spain .

Directed by Jon Watts from a script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, Spider-Man: Far From Home stars Tom Holland, Jake Gyllenhaal, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Tony Revolori, Martin Starr, Numan Acar, J.B. Smoove, Oli Hill, Remy Hii, Marisa Tomei, Michael Keaton, Jon Favreau, Cobie Smulders, and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. The friendly neighborhood Spider-Man may appeal even more to younger audiences as they can connect and identify with the 16 year-old lead character more-so than some of the other more violent and mature Marvel movies.

It is Sony Pictures that decides where these movies go. Out over 8,900 participants, 42% named it the best one, with other favorites being "Spider-Man 2", "Spider-Man: Homecoming", and the Oscar winning-animated spectacle, "Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse". The same won't be the case for Far From Home, though. It's not as great as Netflix or Disney+, I know, but at least the movie will be swinging around somewhere in case we want to re-watch it.
