Netherlands coach Wiegman hopes to topple U.S. and Ellis

The World Cup win comes as the women's team is suing the U.S. Soccer Federation for gender discrimination, with a focus on the pay gap between the men's and women's teams.

Team members Alex Morgan and Megan Rapinoe told "CBS This Morning" in March that U.S. Soccer was in a position to take "an incredibly bold stance" on equal pay.

The ladies on the American soccer team shut out the Netherlands on Sunday to win the 2019 FIFA World Cup.

She was one of just three USA players to do so.

You may recognise Maya from her starring role in the 2017 BBC adaptation of Little Women , in which she played Jo March. It has been reported that her co-workers have been crushing on her, which gives birth to a show within the show.

But shortly after the title game, Trump tweeted: "Congratulations to the U.S. Women's Soccer Team on winning the World Cup!" I tried to put up a good case. Since making her debut in 2005, she's scored 113 goals in 281 global appearances - including three at France 2019 in just 194 minutes of action - good for fourth on the USA's career list after Abby Wambach, Mia Hamm and Kristine Lilly. In the 2015 final, Lloyd became the first player ever to score three goals in such a game and just the second soccer player ever to score a hat-trick in either the men's or women's final, joining England's men's national team player Geoff Hurst. Following this, the 52-year-old was named the 2015 FIFA World Coach of the Year for Women's Football. The Netherlands made it incredibly hard for us. Wiegman, meanwhile, went on to become the first Dutch footballer to win 100 caps.
