Brevard County Weather Forecast Calls For High Rain Chances Saturday Afternoon

Shortly before 5 p.m., the weather service office in Mount Holly reported that the rain gauge outside its building in Burlington County had collected 1.5 inches of rain from the thunderstorms that passed over that area in the late afternoon.

Today will see a 60 percent chance of showers with thunderstorms possible between 2 and 8 p.m. Storms will produce locally heavy rainfall and gusty winds.

Thunderstorms are possible through tonight in northeast in and northwest OH, with the best chances during late afternoon and evening, the National Weather Service said.

Tonight, there is a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with a low of 71, according to the weather service. South wind 5 to 9 miles per hour. An east southeast wind of 6 miles per hour will become light and variable. Wind: SE 5-10. High: 87.

Monday night, it will be partly cloudy with a low of 73, according to the weather service. Look for a return to heat with highs near 90 by Tuesday and Wednesday. If you're planning to spend the day at the beach, highs will top out in the upper 70s to lower 80s.

Partly cloudy to mostly sunny Friday and more pleasant with highs near 80.
