Russell Westbrook Rumors: Adrian Wojnarowski Pinpoints ‘Team To Watch’

Wojnarowski reports that both the Thunder and Westbrook's camp are in agreement that the time is right to gauge the market and explore trade possibilities for the eight-time All-Star. Everything the Bulls are building this summer would fall apart with the cost that Russ would come with.

Flashforward to present day and George is leaving, per his request, so he can play back in his home state for the Los Angeles Clippers with Kawhi Leonard.

George re-signed with the Thunder on a four-year, $137 million deal with a player option for Year 4. It was something other teams were aware of, which helped make the trade a reality. George's trade for several draft picks, however, could foreshadow a shakeup to the Thunder's roster.

Grizzlies looking to trade Iguodala
Regardless of the conspiracy theories, it's clear that Iguodala still has lot left in the tank and can help any team win. He averaged 5.7 points and 3.7 rebounds in 68 games this past season, his sixth with the Warriors.

While Westbrook leaving the team that appears to have been loyal to him all throughout his entire National Basketball Association career sounds a bit surprising at this point, sources claimed that the Heat, on the other hand, has been chasing a number of National Basketball Association stars since they managed to trade for their new superstar, Jimmy Butler. That could lead to Westbrook being shipped out of Oklahoma City as well, with the Miami Heat as reported early suitors who "absolutely like" Westbrook, according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

For the Thunder, this marks the first look at a possible franchise reset since the team moved to Oklahoma City from Seattle, with Westbrook, 30, the final player remaining from the original team that relocated.

The Athletic's Sam Amick seconded the idea that Westbrook's future in Oklahoma City was in question, as did Alex Kennedy of HoopsHype. He started 73 of his 82 games in L.A. where he averaged 11 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists.
