First Teaser For Disney's Live-Action Adaptation Of 'Mulan' Released

Liu Yifei stars as Mulan, the young Chinese woman who masquerades as a man so she can join the army in her father's place.

Disney unveiled its new trailer for their live action Mulan remake during the Women's World Cup on Sunday (July 7). Mulan then said, "It is my duty to fight". After a cancellation, a reignition, delays, rewrites, the movie finally went on floors previous year and today, the first teaser of the new Mulan was released on the internet by Dinsey. Yay! "Reflection" and "I'll Make a Man Out of You" are sweet, but Matthew Wilder and David Zippel's music and lyrics never had the popularity or staying power of Alan Menken, Howard Ashman, or Tim Rice.

Told that being quiet, composed and disciplined is the way to be a good wife, Mulan is also seen defiantly employing these qualities as she secretly trains to be an excellent warrior. At the start of the film, Mulan is the daughter of honored warrior Hua Zhou (Tzi Ma). Throughout her journey, she is "tested every step of the way and must harness her inner-strength and embrace her true potential" to become an honored warrior who earns both her family and her country's respect.

A lot more is about to be revealed regarding Disney's new flick.
