Redmi K20, K20 Pro officially coming to India on July 17th

Now, there appears to be an official confirmation regarding when we can expect the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro to be launched in India.

The special edition, complete with collectable Avengers-branded packaging, is now only set for release in the Chinese market. In India, the company had also organized its traditional 48Mi Explorers program for MI fans prior to the Redmi K20 series launch.

Redmi had launched the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro on May 28 in China. So, as you can see that Xiaomi is finally ready to bring the Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro to India after a long wait. Now, the tweet from the company confirms that the launch will happen on July 17.

Realme X Spider-Man Far Home Edition also has a special case and package.

The upcoming Redmi K20 Pro will also launch in a Marvel-based theme paying tribute to the Marvel series. Interestingly, Xiaomi/Redmi has released a limited edition version of the K20 Pro to appeal to fans of the Marvel Universe and the Avengers. However, the Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro might be rebranded as Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro respectively for other countries.

Apple rumoured to ditch MacBook keyboard mechanism
Although the numerous user complaints are reason enough to change the keyboard mechanism, Kuo suggested that it's more than that. Lastly (but certainly not least), many MacBook users simply find the butterfly keyboard uncomfortable to type on.

The Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro were announced by the company in May.

As for design, the Redmi K20 has a curved glass back with a smoky effect which shifts tints when the lighting changes. The smartphone sports a 6.39-inch AMOLED full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) screen with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 91.9 percent screen to body ratio, and in-display fingerprint sensor. While the K20 Pro comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, Redmi K20 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC.

There's a 4,000mAh battery inside, with 10-watt charging and MicroUSB connectivity, a 5MP front-facing camera, FM Radio, and a headphone port. Xiaomi said the battery life should last up to two days.

The Chinese Redmi 7A arrived with an unspecified 13MP rear camera sensor, while the India Redmi 7A boasts a 12MP Sony IMX486.

The Xiaomi CC9 pricing starts at 1799 Yuan (Rs 18,000 approx) for the 6/64GB variant while the higher 6GB/128GB variant costs 1999 Yuan (Rs 20,000 approx). The 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model can be bought for CNY 2,599 (approximately Rs 25,900), whereas the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option is priced at CNY 2,799 (approximately Rs 27,900).
