Grizzlies looking to trade Iguodala

There were rumors that the Grizzlies would buyout Igoudala, who would then join the Lakers. The three-time National Basketball Association champion is a former client of Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka, so there is a relationship already set up with the team.

One somewhat surprising aspect of the trade that sent D'Angelo Russell to the Golden State Warriors was that, in order to facilitate the deal, the Dubs had to move Andre Iguodala to the Memphis Grizzlies.

Remember, Memphis also received a 2024 first-round pick (Top-4 protected) from the Dubs, and could end up getting another future pick if they flip Iguodala.

Arsenal make approach to sign three Real stars - but are they realistic?
The Brazil worldwide is now enjoying a summer holiday after his surprise omission from Tite's squad for this summer's Copa América.

Unless he is traded to a team willing to absorb salary, other competing franchises like the Los Angeles Lakers and the Houston Rockets will make their bids for Iguodala as a potential useful acquisition. He averaged 5.7 points and 3.7 rebounds in 68 games this past season, his sixth with the Warriors. I don't know how true that is, whether or not it is going to definitively happen.

The Memphis Grizzlies may have no intention of keeping Andre Iguodala after they acquired him in a trade with the Golden State Warriors, but they are not working with him on a buyout - at least not yet. Regardless of the conspiracy theories, it's clear that Iguodala still has lot left in the tank and can help any team win.
