Chelsea agree sale of Morata to Atletico

Atletico Madrid are lining up a bid to sign Alvaro Morata permanently after being warned they may have to send the striker back to Chelsea if they don't. The transfer fee set to be an amount of around £50 million, which is almost the fee they paid to Real Madrid two years back.

Chelsea have agreed the sale of Alvaro Morata to Atletico Madrid.

It was a tough spell for the striker, who scored just 24 times from 72 appearances at Stamford Bridge.

Morata played in Atletico's youth program before joining Real Madrid's academy in 2008.

Ex-Blues boss Maurizio Sarri sanctioned his departure and brought in Gonzalo Higuain as a replacement to limited success, with the Argentina striker having now returned to Juventus with the Blues opting not to extend his loan.

Iran-Turkey-Russia meeting on Syria to be held in August
Russian Federation and Turkey penned a $2.5 billion agreement on the sale of four battalion sets of S-400s to Turkey in late 2018. Bozkir underlined that Turkey had been fully transparent in its purchase of the S-400 systems.

But struggles with form, fitness and confidence plagued Morata at Chelsea thereafter, resulting in him losing his starting place to Olivier Giroud and revealing he was seeing a psychologist in an attempt to overcome his problems.

The Spanish club said in a statement: 'Atletico de Madrid and Chelsea have reached an agreement for the transfer of Alvaro Morata as of July 1, 2020.

"Morata made his debut at our club on February 3 against Betis".

Morata who still has three years remaining on his Chelsea contract scored six goals for Atletico over the second half of last season.
