ASAP Ferg Says ASAP Rocky Is in Solitary Confinement After Arrest

Videos published on social media, show a person being violently thrown onto the ground by A$AP Rocky.

If after the two weeks it is determined that charges will be filed, Rocky will be fighting an aggravated assault charge which carries a possible 6-year prison sentence.

A$AP Rocky - whose real name is Rakim Mayers - is due to perform on the main stage at Wireless Festival in London this Sunday, with organisers yet to comment on whether his appearance has been cancelled.

Defense lawyer Henrik Olsson Lilja, meanwhile, said he will appeal the decision and claimed his client was acting in self-defense. It was not clear who else was involved in the incident.

The rapper, who was in Stockholm for a concert, can be seen throwing a young man into the street then aiming several punches at him while the man is on the ground.

A Swedish court on Friday ordered that USA rapper A$AP Rocky be held in custody for up to two more weeks while prosecutors investigate his part in a brawl in Stockholm. Two videos released by the rapper show Rocky and his crew repeatedly asking the men to walk away.

It is rumoured that the altercation began as a result of the men seemingly following A$AP Rocky in the street and of inappropriately touching women.
