Horford to sign with Sixers on four-year deal

As the Philadelphia 76ers continue to build for the future, they are working to ensure Ben Simmons is a major part of it.

Despite the 2019 National Basketball Association free agency class being filled with All-Star players, Butler was still highly sought after on the open market. Butler will be replaced by the rising player Josh Richardson through the sign-and-trade with the Miami Heat. The Lakers' biggest competition for Leonard looks to be the Clippers, and they were attempting to sign Butler as a way of luring Leonard to them.

Tobias Harris met with Sixers general manager Elton Brand and ownership on Sunday at the Sixers' practice facility and quickly reached an agreement on the massive new deal.

At long last, the blockbuster on-again-off-again multi-team deal bringing Jimmy Butler to the Miami Heat is finally complete.

Sony is reportedly preparing the PlayStation 5 to be the best gaming console ever, complete with big-budgeted blockbuster exclusives.

Butler joins the Heat after a short but successful partial year with the 76ers.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Philly's deal - while not fully guaranteed - offered a base of $97 million with up to $12 million in championship bonuses.

With those players locked in at significant salaries, it will become more important for the Sixers to hit on rookie players on cheaper contracts and finding veteran's willing to sign with Philadelphia for cheap.

The sting of Jimmy Butler "taking his talents to South Beach" will wear off when Sixers fans get to see Al Horford on the court with their team as they make a deep playoff run and another 50 plus win season.
