Man United, Rashford in rich contract talks

Marcus Rashford committed his long-term future to Manchester United on Monday by agreeing a new four-year contract with the option for a further year.

The 21-year-old, who has already represented England 32 times, made his Manchester United debut in January 2016 and since then has played 184 times for the club, scoring 50 goals and providing 26 assists.

England global Rashford has pledged his long-term future to United by signing a new contract until 2023 on the back of a season when he reached double figures for Premier League goals for the first time. This club has shaped me both as a player and as a person so it's such a privilege every time I get the opportunity to wear the shirt.

"It makes me more determined to put the club back where they belong".

The English news agency also reports that according to Spanish publication La Colina de Nervion, Manchester United "have everything agreed" with Wissam Ben Yedder.

But while Rashford enjoyed a year he can be proud of in terms of individual performances, the same can't be said of United as a whole.

The state Manchester United "have everything agreed" with Ben Yedder, and whilst interest from PSG and Barca is mentioned, it's then added the forward's destination "with nearly total security" will be England.

"I know I was that young - six - and most people aren't thinking of playing for someone's first team at that age, but when he said he was from Manchester United, straight away nothing was going to get in my way of fulfilling my dream".
