Kamala Harris jumps to third place following first Democratic debates

"Questions around Harris" background seemed prompted by a bruising exchange between her and former Vice President Joe Biden during Thursday's debates. "She is half Indian and half Jamaican", the tweet said. Biden then claimed he opposed federally-mandated busing only.

"It's good to be home", she said at a pre-march breakfast where she took to the stage and spun around, showing off a bejeweled jean jacket with the colors of the gay pride flag. "It's long past time to end these racist, birther-style attacks". In making the jump, Harris is now tied with Sen.

"The attacks against @KamalaHarris are racist and ugly", Warren wrote.

"It may make people uncomfortable to speak the truth about the history of our country but we must speak the truth", the California senator told reporters Sunday outside San Francisco's city hall after marching in the city's gay pride parade. "And it's within the power and obligation of tech companies to stop these vile lies dead in their tracks".
