'Garbage'...Former US Ambassador to Ja defends Kamala Harris against race critic

"Listen, the schools of America are as segregated if not more segregated today than they were when I was in elementary school", the 54-year-old said.

After four hours of debate last week involving 20 candidates for the Democratic Party's presidential nomination, there are mixed reviews about how aspirants performed, but there is one clear victor: undocumented immigrants. Brown has been vocal about his previous relationship with Harris and has not held back on commenting about her joining the 2020 race. Eventually, he falsely claimed Hillary Clinton was behind the conspiracy.

Other Democrats on the campaign trail chimed in.

Plenty of women, who make up a key voting bloc in any election, are noticing the difference this time around.

"We are better than this (Russia is not) and stand united against this type of vile behaviour", Klobuchar tweeted.

Much of the attention, however, is on the two female candidates who were bold in their approaches. "The attacks against @KamalaHarris are racist and ugly", Warren tweeted.

"The adversarial attack on Harris' eligibility highlights how political disinformation operators recycle narratives that have had success in the past with hyper-partisan communities", Decker explained, adding that some of the main architects of the birther conspiracy against Obama are utilizing social media to spread similar falsehoods about Harris.

"It's going to bite her in the ass", one supporter told Politico. declared that Senator Warren "got the best reviews of anyone on stage".

That's when she was attacked on Twitter by a conservative provocateur Ali Alexander for not being an "American black".

Dow and S&P 500 are on pace for a record day
The five-year JGB yield rose 1 basis point to minus 0.250% and the 10-year yield climbed 1.5 basis points to minus 0.150%. The S&P 500 also opened above its most recent closing record, and even surpassed its all-time intraday high at the open.

Harris' surge, which also netted her more than $2.5 million in donations as the second-quarter deadline approaches, came largely at Biden's expense, the poll found.

Kamala Harris' racial identity had been festering on conspiratorial corners of the internet for months before being elevated to the mainstream by Donald Trump Jr. during last week's debate, an expert that tracks online misinformation tells CNN.

"She is half Indian and half Jamaican", Alexander wrote. Birtherism was widely promoted by Donald Trump while he was campaigning for president.

And Cory Booker of New Jersey, another 2020 Democratic hopeful, tweeted that his Senate colleague doesn't have anything to prove. Even Mr Biden chimed in. This is true. She has no African American ancestor.

"I remember getting on that yellow bus".

Given what happened during last Thursday night's debate, it may be even more significant that CNN showed Harris leaping from four percent to 19 percent among nonwhite voters since the last poll, while Biden dropped from 30 percent to 25 percent in that same demographic.

"Ever since the comments that Vice President Biden made, this has been weighing on her mind", he said.

The businessman was disappointed and said his mic was "not on " several times when he wanted to speak during the debate.

During fundraising appearances over the weekend in San Francisco and Seattle, Biden discussed the importance of civil rights in his career, from inspiring him to run for office five decades ago to deciding to campaign for the 2020 Democratic nomination after Trump's divisive response to the August 2017 white supremacist march on Charlottesville, Virginia.
