Pacers to Acquire Malcolm Brogdon in Sign-and-Trade With Bucks

It's possible that no single player changed his future more over the course of the past 12 months than Lopez did by signing with the Bucks. The deal is expected to include a player option on final year, the report says.

Free agent center Robin Lopez has reached an agreement with the Milwaukee Bucks, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.

Shams Charania of The Athletic reported earlier that the Bucks were interested in getting the big man.

It's a blow to the Bucks, who had Brogdon for his first three pro seasons.

Brogdon averaged 15.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists while shooting 42.6% from 3-point range in 64 games with Milwaukee last season. Not to mention the innate chemistry the two share.

Middleton has developed into the co-star to MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo on the Bucks' championship-contender team, and his commitment Sunday reestablishes Milwaukee as an Eastern Conference favorite.

Among all the free agency hoopla, the Milwaukee Bucks are set to do a little housekeeping to keep the majority of their roster intact for next season. They retained him, Khris Middleton and George Hill, while losing Nikola Mirotic and Malcolm Brogdon.
