Lil Nas X Posts About His Sexuality on World Pride Day

Gracious in defeat, Lil Nas X tweeted Jack White's Third Man Records to offer them his congratulations.

c7osure is one of the tracks of his recent EP 7.

"But before this month ends I want y'all to listen closely to 'C7osure, '" Nas tweeted Sunday, referring to a track on his recently released debut EP, 7.

"Deada** thought i made it obvious", Nas added on Sunday afternoon.

Followers, including YouTuber James Charles, posted messages of support and pride under his tweets.

And in early May, he was appointed as a board member for the National Cancer Institute through a gazette notice. Deputy President William Ruto has called him "exemplary, brilliant and courageous".


Rap's resident cowboy Lil Nas X appears to have come out as gay in time for the end of Pride Month this June.

Lil Nas X hasn't explicitly discussed his sexuality as of yet, so please don't go saying that he's gay, the LGBTQIA+ community is a large, lovely spectrum of identities, so let's let the young lad talk openly about it when he's good and ready. It's all quite cryptic and dances around the elephant in the room, it's being speculated that this is Lil Nas X's way of coming out as a member of the queer community. He included the rainbow flag emoji, which is often associated with pride.

The 20-year-old Atlanta-born rapper has had the number one song in the United States of America for some time now after his hit "Old Town Road" with Billy Ray Cyrus shot to the top of the charts back in April.

The lyrics for "C7osure" read: "True say, I want and I need to let go, use my time to be free".
