Ivanka Trump wants to be the next president

Donald Trump has courted criticism for installing the "first daughter" in an advisory role that has seen her present for a string of major world summits.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) was among the Democrats complaining that Ivanka should not be allowed a seat at any global table on our behalf because she has no foreign policy experience or qualifications.

Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez shared the video, saying that Trump should bring a "qualified diplomat" to the summit. "It hurts our diplomatic standing when the president phones it in (and) the world moves on", she tweeted.

"It may be shocking to some, but being someone's daughter actually isn't a career qualification. Ms Lagarde, in particular, was unable to hide her irritation".

Earlier this year she tweeted to her millions of followers: 'As a person who actually worked for tips & hourly wages in my life, instead of having to learn about it 2nd-hand, I can tell you that most people want to be paid enough to live'.

She also responded further to others who also took a swipe at her former career, claiming those who trashed her bartending gig as "classist" and out of touch. You are an EMBARRASSMENT to the United States of America.

Author Michael Wolff, in his disputed book "Fire and Fury", wrote that Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner "made an earnest deal" after the 2016 election that she would run for president after her father left the political stage.

"But that video that you showed, it's nearly uncomfortable to watch", she continued.

It "shows varying expressions of tortured politeness as Ms Trump intrudes on a discussion between France's Emmanuel Macron, Britain's Theresa May, Canada's Justin Trudeau and Christine Lagarde, head of the International Monetary Fund".

Following this appearance, Ivanka and Jared joined Donald Trump in a private meeting with Kim Jong Un.

However, many members of the public questioned why the entire clan attended the official visit.

Sanders, the mother of three young children, recently stepped away from her role at the White House.
