Woman Claims Donald Trump Raped Her 23 Years Ago

Advice columnist E. Jean Carroll alleges in a soon-to-be-published book that President Trump sexually assaulted her in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room in NY in the mid-1990s. A Modest Proposal, Carroll recounts her experience running into Trump as she was leaving Bergdorf Goodman in 1995 or 1996. Carroll's descriptions of her encounter with Trump are the most explosive allegations in the book and will likely reignite the discussion over the president's treatment of women and the assault allegations that have been raised against him. Once they entered the dressing room, according to Carroll, Trump pushed her against the wall, pushed his mouth against her lips, then pulled down her tights, unzipped his trousers and forced his "fingers around my private area, thrusts his penis halfway - or completely, I'm not certain - inside me".

Ms Carroll says she did not report the alleged attack at the time after being advised by a friend she had no chance of winning in court. The detailed allegations are made in a upcoming book by Carroll, which has been republished in an excerpt by NY magazine. NY magazine claims to have verified her account with two friends who were told about the incident shortly after it occurred.

Trump denied the allegations in a lengthy statement on Friday, stating he had "never met this person". She is now the 16th woman to accuse Donald Trump of unwanted sexual advances.

Ms. Carroll & New York Magazine: No pictures? I'm not sure if all 21 entries are stories of sexual assault, but the ones shared in an excerpt published in New York Magazine are. After a friendly exchange, Trump allegedly asked her for advice about lingerie that he was considering buying as a gift. Swetnick claimed that Kavanaugh and other high school boys gang-raped her and other teenage girls repeatedly at parties. She said the alleged incident lasted no more than three minutes.

Trump reacted with a statement saying he'd never met his accuser, E. Jean Carroll, and that the incident "never happened". One friend, a magazine writer, begged her to go to the police and offered to go with her.

She also claimed that Les Moonves, the former chief executive of CBS, mauled her in the elevator of a Beverly Hills hotel after she interviewed him in 1997.

According to Carroll, after perusing various accessories, the two ended up in the lingerie department where she claims Trump picked up a bodysuit off of a display and tossed it over to her, telling her to try it on. She was 52 years-old, and he would have been 49 or 50, at a time when he was married to Marla Marples. "He'll bury you", one of the women is quoted as saying.

One Trump accuser, former "Apprentice" contestant Summer Zervos, is suing the president for defamation in NY, a case in which her lawyers may have the opportunity to question him under oath.

Carroll, 75, said both men attacked her in the 1990s, both in public locations.

A spokesman for Moonves referred the The Post to a statement the former CBS chief gave NY magazine, in which he "emphatically denies" the episode.

She said it has been hanging in the back of her closet since that day and that she has never considered testing it for DNA evidence.
