Marvel approaches Keanu Reeves for ‘almost every film’, says Kevin Feige

It was reported a couple of weeks ago that Keanu Reeves was supposedly in early talks for a role in Marvel's The Eternals. A reporter for CNET sister site ComicBook.com asked Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige if the company was planning anything involving Reeves, and indeed, unusual things are afoot at the Circle K. The Marvel Studios boss said that he is not sure even or if the "John Wick" actor will join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but he emphasized the point about them trying to figure out the "right way" to bring the actor into the superhero universe. Not only has he led John Wick 3 into another successful box office victory, but his guest role in Always Be My Maybe made him meme lord, and his upcoming cameos in Toy Story 4, as well as his highly anticipated role in the video game Cyberpunk 2077, have pretty much made 2019 the Year of Keanu.

Feige pointed out that they had to speak to Jake Gyllenhaal multiple times when they saw that he would be flawless to play Mysterio in "Spider-Man: Far from Home".

It sounds like it's only a matter of time before Reeves suits up for Marvel, and we will be here waiting, cash in hand for movie tickets and merchandise.

The Hollywood actor has been the talk of the town, with some campaigning for him to be Time Magazine's "Person of the Year" and others clamoring for a Marvel movie appearance - including the studio itself.

Iranian military claims to have shot down United States spy drone
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said following the tanker attack: "President Trump has done everything he can to avoid war". Iran's state-run IRNA news agency, citing the paramilitary Revolutionary Guard, identified the drone as an RQ-4 Global Hawk.

During an interview with Fandango, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige commented on how they might introduce the X-Men and Fantastic Four into the MCU.

Well that's enough for us to be excited since the possibilities are endless!

Also speaking to ComicBook.com, Feige confirmed the theatrical re-release will include new footage, saying: "We are doing that". I also can't say I'm overjoyed at the concept of such a film - unless they get Keanu Reeves in there somewhere, that is.

Current unconfirmed rumors suggest we may see Reeves join the MCU sooner rather than later with a possible role in The Eternals, along with Angelina Jolie, Kumail Nanjiani and Richard Madden.
