Manchester United linked to Dutch defender as Wan-Bissaka alternative

The report claims that new Juve boss, Maurizio Sarri, has identified Wan-Bissaka as a possible replacement for Joao Cancelo, who has been heavily linked with a move away from Turin this summer.

Diogo Dalot is unlikely to give up without a fight, telling United's official website this week he sees right-back as his best position.

Manchester United have responded with an improved offer of £55 million for the England U-21 global according to the Daily Record, which Crystal Palace are believed to have accepted.

United, according to the Evening Standard, are discussing lodging the improved bid in the knowledge that the sale of Matteo Darmian could make them as much as £10m back - offsetting the higher fee they'll put up front.

Eventually he threw Harper, who had handed the children to a bystander, into the police auto face first, then handcuffed her. The officers then reportedly turned their weapons on Harper, 24, and her two children, who had climbed out of the vehicle.

Manchester United's capture of Aaron Wan-Bissaka is nearly complete. Asked whether Wan-Bissaka had been affected by the daily updates on whether the transfer was going through, Boothroyd said: "I could dodge it by saying "You have to ask him that" but I won't". I would not be truthful if I told you anything other than that.

"He's very calm, he's very measured, he doesn't say a great deal but if he plays tomorrow night I'm expecting the same sort of focus, the same sort of energy and I expect him to bounce back".

'Aaron keeps things to himself. When that speculation is flying around it is bound to turn your head.

'If that was to happen we certainly wouldn't be blocking anybody, we'd be talking to people and seeing if we could help out - providing both clubs were happy with it. He's disappointed with the own goal.
