Jennifer Aniston & Adam Sandler's 'Murder Mystery' - Netflix Ratings Revealed!

The comedian, writer, producer and director signed a four-picture deal with Netflix in 2015, and then added a further four movies in 2017. Murder Mystery released last Friday, June 14 on Netflix.

The film stars Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, and Luke Evans - three massive names in Hollywood.

During its most recent earnings call, Netflix said Ben Affleck's action movie Triple Frontier had been watched by more than 52 million accounts in its first four weeks on the service. At the time, Netflix revealed Bird Box was watched by 45,037,125 accounts in its first week, breaking the record for best first week views-and leading to a giant number of holiday viewers creating hilarious memes about the film.

In a tweet fired off Tuesday afternoon, a verified Netflix account announced the unverified viewing numbers.

The five teenagers were wrongfully convicted and sentenced to prison for gang-raping and almost killing Meili. In 2002, after the boys had spent years in prison, a serial rapist named Matias Reyes confessed to the attack.

It is the biggest opening weekend ever for a Netflix film, according to Netflix. Of that total, 13.37 million were from the United States and Canada, while the remaining 17.49 million came in from the rest of the world.

The movies have been trashed by critics.

But Netflix has regularly touted Sandler's movies as being popular with subscribers, and "Murder Mystery" shows why it keeps luring him back. Netflix content boss Ted Sarandos says Sander is "one of the leading comedians in the film world".
