Philadelphia shooting: One dead and eight shot at U.S. graduation party

Three boys ranging in age from 15 to 17 and a 16-year-old girl were all shot in the legs or ankles and were listed in stable condition.

One of the adults died.

Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross told the news station the party was located near a dead-end, so the gunman "had to have known that there was some type of party" there.

All of the adults are believed to be in their 20s.

No arrests have been made stemming from the incident.

At least one person is dead and eight were shot at a graduation party Sunday night in Philadelphia.

None of the wounds in those who survived appeared to be life-threatening.

The shooting culminated another weekend filled with gun violence in Philadelphia, CBS Philadelphia said.

"These are the things that absolutely drive us insane", he said.

The shooting occurred when 60 people gathered for a graduation celebration at an address near two playgrounds in southwest Philadelphia.

"If you only continue to ask us, we're never going to solve this issue".
