Pakistani politicians get cat ears, whiskers in hilarious Facebook fail

In what feels like a skit, a Pakistani politician forgot to turn off a cat filter during a Facebook Live press conference.

According to the party, the political party's social media team quickly noticed the cartoonish appearances of the speakers and removed the video "within a few minutes".

Live filter software allows phones and computers to superpose all kinds of graphics-including cat ears-on people's faces in videos in real-time at the touch of a finger or click of a mouse. However, images from the press conference are still available on social media.

"I wasn't the only one", Yousafzai told the Agence France-Presse.

The official in charge of running the live stream via Facebook Live appeared to have forgotten that the "cat filter" was on, Pakistani publication Dawn reported.

US Beats Chile At Women's World Cup
When the call came Sunday, Lloyd made it count with a pair of goals to lead the defending champions to a 3-0 victory over Chile. Spreading around the minutes also will keep some of the bench players happy and perhaps even bring the team together.

He later said it was a "mistake" that should not be taken "so seriously". Another felt Yousafzai's new look was "kinda cute".

Shoukat Yousufzai's party later released a statement to explain the incident.

The goof was dubbed "human error" and the party statement said that "all necessary actions have been taken to avoid such incidents in future".

Shaukat Yousafzai's social media team was live streaming his address to media in Peshawar last week when the cat filter was accidentally enabled.

"PTI SM Disciplinary Committee probed the matter first hand and concluded the incident as "a human error" by one of our hard-working volunteers".
